Volunteering Opportunities

We have lots of volunteering opportunities to suit you and your lifestyle. These include supporting lonely people, working with children and families as well as helping us run our centre in Kidderminster.

Being a volunteer is a really rewarding experience and gives you a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and support your local community.

Minibus Driver

During the week we use our minibus to pick up and take home people who would like to use our services who do not have personal transport. We mainly use the bus for our Megamover sessions Monday to Friday from 9am til 3pm. If you are able to help with any of these sessions, or on an adhoc basis for holiday cover, please do get in touch.

Megamover's Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to support our Megamover classes on a Monday - Thursday between 11am to 1pm. The classes are run by one of our fitness instructors.

Volunteers attend the session, help people down to the room, general chatting and seeing how people are, making drinks after and help clearing away at the end. Volunteers join in with the exercise class while keeping an eye out for any issues and being on hand if anyone needs any support

Loneliness and Isolation volunteer

Our project MOJO is aimed at helping people who are feeling lonely and isolated.   The support enables people to connect with others and supports them to become active and engaged in their community.  As a volunteer you will keep in touch with people on a one to one basis through a mixture of phone support, home visits and attending activities with the person requiring support.

Minibus Assistant

During the week we use our minibus to pick up and take home people who would like to use our services ho do not have personal transport.  We mainly use the bus for our Megamover sessions Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 11.30 and from 12.45 to 14.45.

We are looking for people to support our driver on the bus by helping people on and off the bus, chatting with people and taking calls from our team.  If you are able to help with any of these sessions, or on an adhoc basis for holiday cover please do get in touch.
