START - Working together to improve your mental health and resilience

Strength, Thrive, Resilience; Together

START is our mental health programme; Strength, Thrive, Resilience; Together.  START helps people find real and practical ways to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

We provide support through one-to-one and group sessions.

One to one support

Each person is matched with an experienced case worker who works with them to understand what their needs are and develop a plan to support that person to improve their wellbeing.

Group support

Each week we cover a different topic to support you in building resilience, managing stress & anxiety and improving mood.

Each group has a maximum of 10 people.

We use tools like Outcome Stars to help a person understand where they are currently and then track their progress together.

We provide real and practical support and see significant changes in people's lives.

TRANSFORMING LIVES

At Simply Limitless, we see every day how the right support, at the right time, can transform lives.

Our mental health programme supports people facing a range of challenges including grief, anxiety, depression, trauma and isolation. They are supported to rebuild confidence, self-worth and hope. Here are just a few examples of what that looks like in real life:

From self-criticism to self-compassion

One woman moved from constant negative self-talk and poor health to eating regularly, sleeping well, managing anxiety without medication and feeling excited about life again. Her words say it best:

“The past 12 weeks have changed my life.”

From silence to connection

Another participant began, barely able to speak, overwhelmed by grief, separation and health challenges. By the end of the programme she was smiling, talking, reconnecting with her family and engaging in community activities.

“I was close to ending everything, but coming here helped me see there is more to life than the negative.”

From fear to freedom

A single mum, living with severe anxiety and an eating disorder, progressed from eating just three meals a week and being housebound, to enjoying food again, attending social events, exercising with her daughter — and even travelling to London by train. A huge personal milestone.

These stories remind us that small steps, consistent support and compassionate listening can lead to life-changing outcomes.
