We are thrilled to be offering Parenting Courses now at our Simply Limitless centre which are supported by child care facilities or run concurrently with a Parent and Tods group. Those who lead it are qualified social workers with grown up children of their own. The course is aimed at parents of children under 7 years old, ordinary mums and dads who acknowledge that parenting is important but sometimes a hard and lonely task. A variety of ideas are shared in a positive and confidential atmosphere allowing parents to discover what works for them. There is opportunity to discuss individual situations but no pressure to do so and just listening is fine !
The course consists of 6 weekly sessions (30-40 mins) covering topics such as "behaviour you don't like", and " listening to your child" . We are always looking to encourage and show respect for children as they develop, while supporting parents in looking after themselves and enjoying some fun too.
We are passionate about caring for families within our community and welcome people of all ages at Simply Limitless. In support of parents and children we also offer a lunchtime cafe, a hair salon, weekly children's activities, daily child care, a Parent and Tods group, and a full fitness programme with crèche. These are further opportunities to build friendships and ease the pressure of parenting.
