Forest School will be running in Easter hols 2-4th April and 8-10th April!

If you remember making tree houses and dens out of twigs and leaves and the green mossy smell of a wood after light summer rain you are probably a well grown adult rapidly approaching middle age. The sad fact is for the last ten to fifteen years technology has had a massive impact on our children’s leisure time. Many of today’s youngsters are building memories of time spent in front of TV, computer screen or X box rather than any experience of time spent outdoors messing about with mud and puddles. Few of today’s children could tell you the difference between an oak tree and a beech or even what soil feels like between their hands.

Forest School is a wonderful initiative that seeks to readdress that balance. Children should be able to learn, play and enjoy woodland nature safely and benefit from all it has to offer in terms of fresh air, exercise and fun. This summer Forest school comes to Kidderminster. Led by qualified, CRB checked staff it uses strategies outdoors that raise self esteem, independence & many health benefits. The Simply Limitless site sits on an area of outstanding natural beauty in Puxton Marsh – an ideal venue for children to explore digging, making mud pies, bug hunting, shelter building and stories. Mums can rest assured that the enthusiastic staff will help their youngsters benefit from nature in a great fun environment. Catering for youngsters between 3 and 10 years of age there are 15 places available (only 3 per session for 3 year olds).
